Key Thought: Mature Faith isn’t give but it is grown.

Abraham was considered the father of faith.

1.Mature faith is grown through patience. Genesis 16:2, Genesis 17:16
a.Just because God hasn’t answered yet doesn’t mean he won’t.
b.God’s timing is not our timing. Isaiah 40:29, 31 & 32
2.Mature faith is grown through trust.
a.God’s plan may be different from the one we want. Romans 8:28, Genesis 17:20-21
3.Mature faith is grown through grace.
a.Our God is a God of Grace.
b.He makes beautiful things out of our messes. 2 Corinthians 5:19, Hebrews 4:16, Genesis 18:10-15
4.It’s not the size of your faith that matters it’s where you keep placing it. Luke 17:5-6
a.If you keep placing your faith in Jesus, it will grow. Romans 4:18-24
