X is the first letter in the word ‘Christ’ in the Greek language.
Joseph’s response to “more Christ” was being faithful and trusting God.

Matthew 1:18-25

Joseph:
•There isn’t much written about Joseph after Jesus was 12 years old.
•He was probably mid to late teens, 20 at the oldest.
•Betrothed to Mary – this was legally binding that if it were called off it required a divorce.
Things to think about:
•If you were Joseph, how would you feel?
•If you were Joseph, what do you think?
Betrayed, sad, angry, embarrassed, heartbroken and much more.

Joseph had to be a believer. He had to trust God even when it didn’t make sense. God was in control even though Joseph didn’t understand.

Joseph was obedient. We’re not called to do things the easy – we’re called to do things the right way.
